How long has Allied Wire been in business?
Allied Wire and Cable was started in 1988. We are a quickly
growing, family owned business that offers customized services
and quick response times that only a family-oriented business
can. Allied Wire and Cable is a value-added manufacturer
with emphasis on quality and value.
What is a value-added manufacturer?
As a value-added manufacturer, Allied Wire and Cable offers
many services to specialize your order. We can provide numerous
services including UL/CSA Tags to meet your internal certification
needs, and cut, strip, stripe, dye, stamp and/or print your
order to ease in identification or to meet specification.
Do you make custom cables?
Custom Cables are our specialty. We can design almost any
cable to meet your specific need. We have fast turnarounds

Can you do special put ups?
Of course! Just tell us how you want your order put together.
What warranties does your product carry?
Allied Wire and Cable guarantees that all of our products,
wire, cable, connectors and more, are free from defects.
We will take back any product that does not meet the customer's
specifications.
Is there an order minimum or line item minimum?
Allied Wire and Cable has one of the lowest order minimums
in the nation at $50.00 per order. There are no line item
minimums unless specified by the salesperson.
How long does it take to get a quote back?
Most quotes are returned immediately, however, if it is
for a special construction, it could take up to 24 hours.
What is your average turnaround time?
Allied Wire and Cable will ship any in-stock item the
same day if the order is received before 3:00 P.M. We carry
a wide range of hard to find wire and cable, including many
Mil-Spec products allowing us to provide you with a quick
turnaround time.
How late can you get out shipments for next day delivery?
Since Allied Wire and Cable measures its success by
the success of its customers, we will make every effort
possible to ship out emergency orders, even orders received
at 5:00 PM. We will do anything within our power to assure
that your lines are not shut down in an emergency situation.
From where do you ship your material?
Although our headquarters is in Pennsylvania, we have several
strategic warehouses located throughout the United States.
We ship from all of these locations in order to get your
order to you as soon as possible, no matter where you are
located.
Do you drop ship?
Of course! We can even use a private label and use your
packing list, if so desired.
Do you do Just-In-Time shipping?
Allied Wire and Cable has a long tradition of working with
customers that utilize just-in-time inventory management.
By decreasing stock-in-hand, production costs are lowered
and valuable space is freed. We can work with you and our
suppliers to ensure that your material is shipped cost-effectively
to you within 24 hours of a request.
Do you custom package?
We strive to meet our customers' needs and therefore have
no problem meeting most specifications. We can reel into
coils, disposable cartons, special reels, or load your wire
and cable into reusable plastic containers. Please check
with your sales representative first to verify we can meet
your need.

Do you sell other products besides wire and cable?
Wire and cable is our forte, however, we also sell tubing,
connectors, cable assemblies, and cable ties, to name just
