MIL-DTL-24643/21 (LSTCJU, LSTCJA, LSTCTU, LSTCTA)

The M24643/21 cable is a low-smoke, zero-halogen shipboard cable. It is suitable for watertight, non-flexing service. This Mil-Spec cable features either one iron and one constantan conductor or one copper and one constantan conductor. It has extruded Silicone Rubber/Glass Braid/Braid Covering insulation, and an LSZH cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) jacket. The armored versions additionally have braided aluminum armor. This cable is suitable for use in shipboard Type T, Type J, thermocouple, and pyrometer applications. The Mil-DTL-24643 Mil-Spec covers cables suitable for use in shipboard, communications, instrumentation, and electronic applications.
