EcoGen

Alpha’s EcoGen line is designed with the environment in mind while offering exceptional performance in a smaller package. These cables are a green alternative to PVC wire and offer a reduced wall thickness for a smaller in diameter cable. The mPPE insulation causes the cable to be 47 percent smaller and 65 percent lighter than other polyethylene, cross-linked polyethylene, and PVC wire.

The Alpha EcoCable is available in three different shielding options to meet various electrical environments: SupraShield Foil + Braid Shield, Foil Shielded, and Unshielded. Alpha EcoWire meets UL 11028 and CSA standards, as well as UL AWM 21915 standards. These cables do not contain halogens, heavy metals, or phthalates, making them safer in case of a fire. They are also fully recyclable as well as RoHS, REACH, and WEEE Compliant.

These cables are also suitable for use in NFPA 79 applications. All of these eco-friendly cables have a voltage rating of 600V, except the Alpha EcoCable Mini which has a voltage rating of 300V.
