Since most specifications restrict color coding to the ten standard colors, contrasting stripes are generally used when more then ten circuits have to be identified. This can be done with most wire, even wire with PTFE Non-Stick Coating. Allied will stripe your wire to identify your cable according to your specifications.
In order to help facilitate handling and installation, Allied provides dyeing services. A wide variety of wires can be dyed and/or numbered to individual specifications.
Allied will print number or letter codes on a wire for quick identification. Printing benefits both installers and users of the finished product.
Allied has the capability of hot stamping your wire or tubing. This helps in the identification process for cable assemblies. The wire or tubing can also be cut to length.
To help in your manufacturing process, Allied has the capability of cutting your wire to its needed length. If you desire, for no additional charge, we can also strip the insulation back. This helps to streamline your manufacturing process.
Stripping
In order to facilitate your wire and cable installation, we will strip your wire for you. Removing a small section of insulation material from the conductor it covers can make your installation go much smoother.
Cutting
In order to supply you with exactly what you need and to avoid waste, Allied will custom cut your cable to the exact length you require.
To help facilitate your handling and installation process, Allied has the ability of grouping wire together. By grouping single or multiconductor cables into various configurations, installation time is cut down dramatically.
Triplexing and quadraplexing
To help facilitate three-phase operations, Allied will triplex or quadraplex cable to enable you to do single pulls. Messengers can be added for aerial installations.
Allied can provide an overall braid on any wire, cable, or twisted wire. This would help add protection and help to reduce abrasion in harsh environments.
To save labor in the long run, Allied will combine multiple color or number coded cables into one bundle.
Pulling Eye Installation
Allied’s pulling eyes are designed for long and hard cable pulls. In pulling eye installaions, the pulling force is applied directly to the conductor, eliminating breaks.
Allied possesses the capabilities to construct cable to exact termination specifications.
Similar to a cable, tubing can be cut to length and marked to exact specifications.
This service allows customers to receive pre-labeled product with UL/CSA tags to meet their internal certification needs.
With the latest technology, Allied can provide Barcoding if needed on any package.
RFID & Government Labeling
Allied will produce Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Government labels to help meet the necessary identification and tracking standards.
Shipment labeling may be customized to your specifications.
Allied will pack wire and cable in large drums for easy removal later on. Storage capacity in any given Drum can be thousands of feet depending on the gauge of the wire.
Allied Wire offers special reel or spool sizes in many different configurations to help meet your requirements.
