  • Conductor: Stranded Tinned Copper
  • Insulation: Cross-linked Ethylene-Propylene Diene Elastomer (EPDM)

Belden UL 3340, UL 3374 Hook-Up Wire Additional Information: 

  • Belden's UL 3340 & UL 3374 high temperature wires carry specific temperature approvals based on whether the UL standard is needed versus the CSA standard. The UL standard is not rated for flexing, which allows it to carry a higher temperature rating of 150°C than the flexing CSA standard at 125°C. These hook-up wires are approved for use in Class 130(B), 155(F) and some 180(H) systems. When compared to Hypalon, the EPDM used for these hook-up wires offers better resistance to abrasion. UL 3340 & UL 3374 hook-up wires are carried at the same temperature rating as Silicone hook-up wire, but at a lower price. See specific parts for full spec information and approvals.
