Allied Wire & Cable proudly announces the addition of a stocking facility in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. AWC
operates warehouses and offices across the United States, but adding a warehouse in the Midwest to the
list means important changes for Allied Wire customers.
With the additional stocking facility, Allied Wire and Cable expects shipping to its customer base in the
Midwestern and Western states will be faster and more convenient. Logistically, the Wisconsin location
opens up the West Coast to receive Allied products and value-added services.
"The facility enables quicker lead times and better service," said Debby Hanisch, account representative
of the Wisconsin office. "We can improve our assistance to customers that are in the Wisconsin area,
while simultaneously help all of the Allied offices."
The extra stocking space for wire and cable frees up both time and space in Pennsylvania and other
Allied offices. This generates improved speed and service for all customers, both national and
international.
"Everyone at Allied Wire & Cable is thrilled about the new development," says Hans Nelson, manager of
the Wisconsin branch. "At Allied, we believe the customer comes first and we strive to always make
that evident. The stocking facility helps us offer the best possible service to every customer."

Allied Wire continues making improvements to match increasing customer demand.
AWC now stocks a recently added product line: extra flexible power supply cord. All of Allied's warehouses,
including the latest location in Wisconsin, carries the inventory.
The new line is listed as 1283, 1284 Extra Flexible MTW/TEW . The Canadian Standards Association
(CSA) certifies it as Thermoplastic Equipment Wire (TEW). The line also passes VW-1 Vertical Flame Test,
meets UL requirements and is moisture resistant.
"The Flex MTW is a great addition to the already dynamic product lines we stock here at Allied," says Joe
Lander, account representative at the Wisconsin branch. "What makes it unique is that it not only meets UL
requirements, but also has a Boat cable rating and is 1000 volt rated. We also will be stocking large
master reels, which allow us to offer any combination of lengths without leaving small unusable reels behind."
The line can meet customers' needs in many types of applications. Uses of the Flex MTW include: internal
wiring of power supply equipment and appliances, and switchboard, panel, control, electronic circuit, meter
and transformer wire.
The conductors in the wire, extra flexible stranded bare copper with PVC Insulation, allow for a variety
of superior characteristics, including a voltage rating of 600 volts (1000 volt rated to UL10269) and a
temperature rating of 105C.
Allied Wire trusts the expansion of wire and cable products will help supply customers with the most apt wire
for every function.
