Allied Wire and Cable would like to make customers aware of a few happenings in the wire and cable industry:
- Several wire and cable manufacturers are closed during the summer, so if you plan to order wire,
be aware that you might encounter longer lead times and new shipping schedules.
- Belden increased the price on their New Generation® Multi-conductor items by 8% on 7/16.
- Neutrik USA plans to increase their prices by 3-5% on 9/1.
- Copper prices are still on the rise.

Allied Wire and Cable was proud to support the 2007 Donovan McNabb Foundation Golf Classic, a charity event
benefiting the American Diabetes Association. The June 15th event was held locally at the RiverCrest Golf Club
in Phoenixville, PA.
Allied Wire's own, Tim Flynn, Dan Flynn and Chris Burke, who were paired with Jeremiah
Trotter, Linebacker of the Philadelphia Eagles, ended up being the winning foursome! Everyone had a great
time supporting a worthy cause.

Donovan McNabb, Quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, started his foundation in 2000 to help create
awareness about diabetes. The Foundation supports the American Diabetes Association, as well as other
