Allied Wire is celebrating 20 years of exceptional service in 2008.
In 1988, AWC opened its doors. Owners established the company with the hope of developing a customer-focused
wire and cable business. Today, Allied Wire has become a leading wire and cable company that remains focused
on customers. We are proud of what AWC has accomplished.

and our own employees who have run into hard times. I am excited to see what the next 20 years has in store for

Due to the rising prices of raw materials, Alpha Wire has announced a price increase that will be effective April 14, 2008. Price
increases are expected to be in the range of 5% to 10% on selected Alpha, Manhattan and Dearborn product lines. Allied Wire and

Pat Vaccaro, a notable figure in wire and cable who also has a component industry
background, has recently joined AWC as an outside sales representative based in Florida. Pat comes to AWC from Alpha Wire.
The addition of Vaccaro means a growing company presence for Allied Wire in the Southern US.
A professional with an extensive resume, Vaccaro brings over 30 years of experience in the electronic component business to
Allied Wire. Vaccaro’s well-rounded background ranges from work in the semiconductor business to work in the harness and
assembly industry. He has most recently worked in the wire and cable business with KSM Electronics and Alpha Wire Company.
“I am thrilled to be with AWC because Allied is a great company,” said Vaccaro. “My co-workers here are knowledgeable
and willing to put in the effort that is needed to thrive in today’s competitive market. The coupling of my experience
