F Braid 1 Flat Braided 7 Gauge Wire - Mil-Spec AA59569
Our F Braid 1 flat braid is part of our Mil-Spec Wire and Cable line. F Braid 1 is a 7 gauge wire with a tinned copper conductor and a 48-18-36 construction. These cables are rated for an amperage of 88 amps and weighs approximately 75 LBS/MFT. The tinned copper strands in this wire are tightly woven and rolled flat at the time of manufacture and are generally used in battery grounding, bonding straps (in aircraft, watercraft, rail, and vehicles), and as mechanical connections on moving parts.
Our braided MIL-SPEC products have physical and electrical properties that cannot be outdone. They are listed as both QQ-B-575 and AA595669. The QQB flat braided wire has tinned copper strands woven and rolled flat to specific width depending on construction. Tubular Braid AA59569 wire has a tinned copper braid woven in a completely round configuration.
