The M81044/8 Mil-Spec lead wire is a dual layer, lightweight, high-temperature lead wire that is suitable for applications where high-density cabling and harnessing are required. Besides offering size and weight advantages, this lead wire has excellent resistance to cut through, abrasion, cold flow, shrink back, notch propagation, and common chemicals. Additionally, this lead wire strips and stripes easily, may be potted, and has low-smoke characteristics. The M81044/8 lead wire is commonly used for airframe, avionics, military vehicle, shipboard, and missile applications.
