Irradiated PVC Hook Up Wire (UL 1429, UL 1430, and UL 1431)

Hook-Up Wire / Lead Wire

Irradiated PVC Hook Up Wire (UL 1429, UL 1430, and UL 1431)

UL 1429, UL 1430, UL 1431 Hook Up Wire

Irradiated PVC Hook Up Wire stocked by Allied Wire possesses an unequaled assemblage of features and abilities. All styles, including UL 1429, UL 1430, and UL 1431 lead wire, come with color-coded, irradiated PVC. Irradiated PVC insulation is Solder Iron Resistant and tougher than ordinary PVC, giving it greater abrasion and cut-through resistance. Allied Wire and Cable carries the best stock of UL 1429, UL 1430, and UL 1431 lead wire in the industry.

Although Irradiated PVC lead wire is used widely in high-density wiring, the wire functions well in different applications. UL 1429 and UL 1430 are suitable for internal wiring of electronic equipment, computers, business machines and appliances. UL 1431 lead wire works well for internal wiring of electronic equipment, power circuits, air conditioners, business machines and appliances.

Voltage ratings and operating temperature ranges differ among the lead wire products. UL 1429 has a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C with a voltage rating of 150 volts. UL 1430 has a temperature rating of -55°C to +105°C and a voltage rating of 300 volts. Like UL 1430, UL 1431 has a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C, but with a voltage rating of 600 volts.

Allied Wire’s collection of UL 1429, UL 1430, and UL 1431 lead wire meets industry standards. All Irradiated PVC lead wire products are UL and CSA dual rated lead wire. Additionally, our Irradiated PVC lead wire is available in tinned over coat, prebond and bare copper. Value added services are available for our lead wire upon request.
