Sales Assistant (Part-Time)

Allied Wire & Cable, a leading global specialty manufacturer and value-added distributor of electrical wire and cable, is looking for part-time Sales Assistants to join our dynamic and growing sales team. This position will work within our Sales Department at our International Headquarters in Collegeville, PA or in our New England Division in Merrimack, NH.

A day in the life of a Sales Assistant:

    • Assisting Sales Representatives/Account Managers located in office and remotely
    • Entering sales orders, purchase orders and internal forms quickly and accurately
    • Communicating with vendors: requesting pricing/availability and following up on order status; recording pricing in internal database
    • Assisting Sales with maintaining up-to-date customer information in our CRM
    • Additional duties include, but are not limited to, assisting receptionist with answering and distributing inbound calls and preforming administrative office duties

Qualified candidate must:
    • Love working with people and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
    • Be detail-oriented – our customer relationships depend on your accuracy!
    • Basic-to-intermediate computer skills
