AWC New England Division Welcomes Industry Veterans

New England

Allied Wire & Cable embraces the addition of two new members to the company. On Monday, October 30, 2006, Michael Rosa and Mike Reardon officially became part of Allied Wire & Cable's New England branch. Both men bring a long history of success, ability and wire and cable knowledge to the organization.

In 1976, Michael Rosa's father founded Pacer Electronics, a Woburn, MA based distributor of wire and cable for the electronics industry. As CEO of the company, Michael Rosa led revenue growth to over $49 million before selling Pacer to Anixter International in 1998.

"I got back in business because opportunity was kicking my door down," said Rosa. "I met with the owners of Allied Wire & Cable and got confirmation that the company was convinced, as was I, that there was a great opportunity. When I ran Pacer, we believed in great service and in never taking the customer for granted. I am very happy and excited to be part of the organization that shares my vision for how the New England Marketplace should be handled."

Mike Reardon also carries a great deal of experience and success in wire and cable, having worked at Pacer for nearly thirteen years, starting as a sales representative and eventually moving into sales management.

"The New England wire and cable market is dynamic. With recent merger and acquisition activity, customers have limited options," Reardon said. "It's this opportunity that leads me to Allied Wire & Cable. Under my leadership, Allied Wire & Cable will become a premium distributor in New England. Combined with the fantastic people AWC has assembled, we will become a premium wire and cable distributor nationally."

With the addition of Rosa and Reardon, AWC enthusiastically anticipates continued growing success for the company in its future.

Join Us In Supporting Charities This Holiday Season

Allied is giving everyone a chance to participate in helping children with problems and diseases have a Merry Christmas. Between December 18th and 22nd, Allied Wire & Cable will donate 1% of all sales to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This is a wonderful cause to help terminally ill children and their financially strapped families make at least one last dream come true for the child.

With the average wish costing $7,000, we hope to raise enough funds the week before Christmas to grant 2-3 wishes. Every purchase made during that time will help turn a child's wish into a reality.

In addition, Allied will be having a Toys for Tots drive here in Oaks, PA. This is an opportunity for everyone to get involved in granting some smaller whishes. So remember when you are out buying a gift for your child or a niece or nephew, pick up an extra Barbie doll or Matchbox car and help make it a special day for someone else too! Please visit to find the nearest drop-off location in your area.

Please join us this holiday in our support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Toys for Tots by participating in these events. You will be helping spread the joy of the holidays to children in need.
