RG12A coax cable contains a tinned copper conductor with a maximum operating voltage of 5,000 volts. This conductor is shielded in order to increase its sturdiness and allow for use in direct burial applications. RG12A coax cable also features a Type IIA non-contaminating PVC jacket as specified by MIL-C-17. This allows the cable to handle temperatures ranging from -40°C to 80°C and qualifies RG12A coax cable for military use. It is equivalent to M17/6-RG12 coax cable. This cable’s durability makes it ideal for outdoor use.
