RG36 coax cable is a military-approved coax cable that can be used to transmit data in situations that involve direct burial, temperatures ranging from -40°C to 80°C and other environmental factors. Its bare copper conductor is rated for a maximum operating voltage of 13,000 volts and is protected from electrical interference by bare copper shielding. This allows for excellent conductivity and ensures a consistent, strong current. RG36 coax cable also features a black Type I PVC jacket that protects the cable from moisture and abrasion. However, this type of jacket is susceptible to attenuation. RG36 coax cable adheres to MIL-C-17 military specifications for coax cable.
