PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing is used to encapsulate and protect other wire and cable. PTFE Shrink Tubing is produced at a larger-than-needed size and must be heat-shrunk to create a tight fit around the internal wire or cable. In addition to PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing's ability to withstand extreme heat and external chemicals, PTFE Shrink Tubing also boasts a low friction rating and a very low level of moisture absorption. Together, these qualities make PTFE Shrink Tubing great for cable insulation and protection.

Allied Wire and Cable carries a variety of PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing options, including Spiral Wrap PTFE Shrink Tubing and Mylar Heat Shrink Tubing. This type of PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing is used by a long list of industries, including the Automotive industry, Telecommunications, Shipbuilding, Aviation, and Power Distribution. It is also used by the Military. As you can see, PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing can serve a wide range of purposes in a variety of industries. PTFE Shrink Tubing's applications include insulating, terminating, moisture sealing, color coding, splicing, and cable bundling. Allied Wire and Cable carries several different wall thickness options to meet your specific requirements, so we're sure to have the right PTFE Shrink Tubing for your application.

There are two important factors to consider when ordering a PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing or PTFE Shrink Tubing product: the maximum diameter of your cable or bundle and the temperature range required by your application. Be sure the PTFE shrink tubing you're considering will accommodate your requirements in both areas. Measure carefully when ordering PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing to be sure you get the right PTFE Shrink Tubing / PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing product.

AWC provides value-added services for our tubing products, like PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing. For our PTFE Shrink Tubing, we offer custom identification, installation, labeling, and packaging solutions.
