What is RG187 Coax Cable?

RG187 coax cable is commonly used in data transmission, radio frequency (RF) communications, and broadcast applications. It is also often used to transmit video signals and may be used in security systems requiring high-temperature performance. RG187 coax cable is approved for direct burial, temperatures as high as 230°C, and a maximum voltage of 1,200 volts. This is a military-grade coax cable, as specified by MIL-C-17/68D and it is equivalent to M17/136-00001 coax cable. RG187 coax cable is constructed with a silver-coated copper-clad steel conductor that is shielded to prevent electrical interference and a Type XII PTFE jacket.
