What is RG240 Coax Cable?

RG240 is a coax cable that is distributed by Allied Wire & Cable. This cabling solution is useful for any direct burial applications or for any high frequency transmission needs. RG240 coax cable is unique due to its bare copper tube conductor and PS Helix dielectric. On the outside, the aluminum shielding acts as a shield as well as the jacket for this particular wire. Additionally, the cable has approval for military usage through the specifications set by MIL-C-17. The standards set by these specifications help to ensure the wire is capable of working between -55°C to +80°C and up to 4,700 volts for a maximum operating voltage.
