What is RG242 Coax Cable?

Our RG242 Coax cable is a high-grade coaxial cable distributed by Allied & Cable. This wiring is composed of a single bare copper tube with insulation. This part does not have a jacket, but rather has an aluminum tubing that acts as a shield as well as a jacket. Therefore, our RG242 coax cable still has solid protection. This product is capable of operating within -55°C and +80°C, which allows this wire to be practical in a variety of situations. However, the most common use for our coax cable is in direct burial applications. RG242 has a maximum operating voltage of 8,700 volts. Unfortunately, Allied no longer offers this part.
