UL 1523 wire is approved for the internal wiring of electronic, electrical equipment and in many other applications including environments with a high demand for high electrical, thermal and mechanical performances. UL 1523 wire has a rating of 105 C but its voltage is not specified. This wire's ETFE insulation has excellent resistance to chemicals, oil, and gasoline. UL 1523 wire is also resistant to environmental influences such as ozone, UV radiation, humidity, and high-temperature fluctuations. It is also non-flammable and environmentally neutral. This ETFE wire wrap may be used as an appliance wire and as a back panel wire wrap. It is used as internal wiring where it is not exposed to mechanical damage or movement.
