Classic 100 SY Cable

The Lapp Olflex Classic 100 Cable is a control cable suitable for use in control systems, assembly lines, control panels, data processing equipment, and European-influenced machinery. This cable features PVC insulation and a pressure extruded PVC jacket for improved flexibility. It also features a braided galvanized steel shield that provides 75 percent coverage. This cable is also CE Approved and RoHS Compliant.

Classic 100 SY Cable Construction:

  • Conductor: Finely stranded bare copper (Class 5 fine wire) - *2c cable does not include ground
  • Insulation: PVC
  • Color Code: VDE 0293-308
  • Shielding: Gray PVC inner jacket; galvanized steel braid (75% coverage)
  • Jacket: Transparent PVC

Classic 100 SY Cable Ratings:

  • Minimum Bend Radius for Installation: 6 x cable diameter
  • Temperature Range:
    • For flexible use: -5°C to +70°C
    • For stationary use: -40°C to +80°C
  • Voltage Rating:
    • 16 AWG and smaller: 300/500V
    • 14 AWG and larger: 450/750V
  • Test Voltage: 4000V
