BRC-10-3 Brake Cable

Our BRC-10-3 is a 10 gauge 3 conductor brake cable. This type of cable has various automotive applications but is typically used in parking brakes. Parking brake cables connect the pedal or handle to the brakes. When the handle is pulled or pedal is pressed, the cable tightens in order to activate the brakes. Since parking brakes are meant to be used on a daily basis, this means that the cable will be pulled regularly as the brakes are continually used. Over time this can cause the cable to experience stretching, wear, friction, and heat damage. Our 10 gauge 3 conductor brake cable is designed to be protected from these types of damage. Its three 19/23 stranded bare copper conductors are aligned flat in the cable allowing for increased flexibility and reduced deterioration. Its conductors are also covered in a PVC insulation and jacket which give the cable a temperature rating of -40° to 105° making heat damage no longer an issue.
