BRC-18-2 Brake Cable

Our BRC-8-2 is an 8 gauge 2 conductor brake cable. This type of cable can be used for multiple automotive applications, but it is most commonly used as a parking brake cable. In a parking brake system, the cable connects the handle or pedal with the brakes. This cable needs to be able to flex regularly as the brake is being used. It also needs to be resistant to heat, as the brakes may experience heat caused by friction. Our 8 gauge 2 conductor cable is designed to curb these issues. The cable aligns its 19/21 stranded bare copper conductors so that the cable is flat and flexible. It is also covered in a PVC insulation and jacket that allows for a maximum temperature of 105°C. Therefore, our 8 gauge 2 conductor cable is a long-lasting parking brake cable that will ensure the safety of our customers.
