HellermannTyton's Two-Piece Fir Tree Cable Ties come assembled and offer a simple and versatile method of bundling and mounting cables. Part number 156-03940 provides this functionality. The fir tree is easy to insert into pre-punched holes in panels or threaded blind holes and offers a secure hold. Two-piece design enables the tie head to be orientated in the required position to ease assembly. The disc above the fir tree covers the hole and minimizes the ingress of water and debris. The low profile cable tie features a compact, contoured head designed to use less space in confined areas and reduce protrusions that might otherwise interfere with or damage adjacent wire insulation and hoses. Outside serration provides a smooth inside surface to further minimize indentation or damage to soft bundles while offering high tensile strength and low insertion force. This mount is sold as an assembly with the cable tie.
Friction tab inside the fir tree keeps tie in mount without falling out prior to installation. Fir tree provides low insertion effort yet demonstrates high extraction resistance. Disc feature prevents rattling in high-vibration applications and protects against debris ingress. Cable tie is outside serrated to reduce bundle chafing. Low profile cable tie helps bundle wires neatly to accommodate wire harnesses with smaller diameters. Low profile head won™t snag on surrounding parts and wires.
The product is made from Polyamide 6.6 heat stabilized (PA66HS); Polyamide 6.6 high impact modified, heat and UV stabilized (PA66HIRHSUV), Polyamide 6.6 heat stabilized (PA66HS), PA66HS, PA66HIRHSUV and is engineered for an operating temperature range of -40F to +221F (-40C to +105C); -40F to +230F (-40C to +110C) and is supplied in Black (BK) and should be stored in Store in a sealed package. Avoid direct heat sources and sunlight. Ideal storage conditions: 73F (22.8C), 50% RH with intended use for For Indoor and Outdoor Use.
