SGX-2 — 2 AWG SGX Battery Cable

SGX-2 is part of our Automotive Wire & Battery Cable line. This 2 gauge battery cable contains a 133/0.0220 stranded bare copper conductor for excellent and consistent conductivity. The cable features cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation allows for it to handle extreme temperatures while still providing consistent voltage for sensitive components in high-end vehicle applications. With a range of -40°C to 125°C, you can rest assured this battery cable will perform in any environment. This cable is rated for a voltage of 50 volts and weighs approximately 248 lbs/MFT. SGX-2 cables can be used in long-term applications where resistance to abrasion, heat, and aging is needed. They are also very thin with a nominal outer diameter of only 0.4380 inches allowing this battery cable to pass through firewalls with minimal clearance and snake around crowded engine compartments of the latest EV vehicles. The small size and high resistance of our SGX-2 make it a dependable cable for use in automotive starters and battery grounds. This cable meets the SAE J-1127 standards set out for low voltage battery cable in electrical systems including electric vehicle battery wiring.
