SGX-4/0 — 4/0 AWG SGX Battery Cable

Our SGX-4/0 is part of our Automotive Wire & Battery Cable line. This 4/0 battery contains 2052/.0100 stranded conductor made from bare copper. This allows for the cable to handle a voltage of 50 volts and provide steady conductivity. It weighs approximately 766 lbs/MFT and has a nominal outer diameter of only 0.7060 inches. This thin 4/0 battery cable can fit through tight spaces in cramped engine compartments, and can easily pass through firewalls. Its cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation allows this 4/0 battery cable to have a temperature range -40°C to 125°C, for use in automotive starters or battery grounds where resistance to abrasion, heat, and aging is needed following the SAE J-1127 standards for low voltage battery cable in electrical systems.
