XL-Dur® - 600V, 125°C

This Belden XL-Dur Hook-Up Wire meets UL Style 3173. It features a single conductor and stranded tinned copper insulated with .032” XLPE insulation. This construction allows for a uniform, flexible, concentric, quality construction. This wire is ideal for lighting equipment, motor and coil leads, transformers, control panels, military equipment, industrial controls, computers, and electronic equipment wiring with higher temperature requirements. It is also suitable as a class B motor lead wire.

Belden XL-Dur Wire Construction:

  • Conductor: Soft annealed stranded tinned copper, color-coded
  • Insulation: XL-Dur Chemically Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE)
  • Printing:
    • 14 AWG and Larger: printed with "SIS" for Switchboard applications
    • 16 AWG - 18 AWG: printed with "Suitable for Switchboard Use"
