Alpha EcoWire is the latest advancement in environmentally friendly hook-up wire. EcoWire is RoHS and WEEE compliant, meaning it does not contain any hazardous substances and, therefore, can be easily recycled. Alpha EcoWire is designed with modified polyphenylene ether (mPPE) thermoplastic, a non-halogenated insulation absent of any heavy metal pigments. When compared to PVC, mPPE is a lighter, tougher and more durable option.
