UL 1422
UL 1422
UL 1422 wire has high-temperature resistance and superior mechanical properties used to make solder-less connections of wires to terminals. This wire exhibits excellent high dielectric strength and great mechanical properties over a generous range of temperatures. The PVDF insulation has better cut-through resistance, as week as resistance to a variety of chemicals including most inorganic acids, bases, alcohols, halogenated solvents, organic acids, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons. UL 1422 wire wrap is also used for wiring back panels, power supply, and test fixtures for the printed circuit board market. 20 AWG to 30 AWG Kynar wire may be used in computer and business machine applications. However, it may only be used in computers and business machines that are not subject to movement or mechanical damage.
