UL 3289 hook-up wire has a temperature rating of 150°C and a voltage rating of 600V. UL 3289 wire irradiation cross-linked polymeric insulation possesses remarkable mechanical, flame resistance, and electrical properties. UL 3289 is also a halogen-free, flame-retardant UL/CSA approved stranded wire for the wiring of electrical panels, switchgear, electrical and electronic equipment. It is also suitable for use as a connection wire for motor and transformer windings, chokes, and relays that are subjected to impregnation and/or as a connecting wire in an environment that demands a high-temperature resistance.
