Single Conductor

Our Single Conductor Underground power cable is suitable for direct burial applications, installations in ducts, and underground systems that operate at 600 volts or less. It is also suitable for non-code-complying temperature of 90°C in wet or dry locations in accordance with ICEA specifications. This cable is resistant to abrasion, sunlight, and impact. It is also offered with varying constructions.

Aluminum Single Conductor Underground Power Cable Specifications

Single Conductor Underground Power Cable Construction:

  • Complete Cable:
    • Aluminum conductor insulated with Extruded Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE)
    • Manufactured and tested in accordance with ANSI/ICEA Standard S-105-692
    • When specified, cable is produced in accordance with UL 854 and listed as a Type USE-2 cable
  • Conductors:
    • Class B compressed aluminum 1350-H19 meeting the requirements of ASTM B231 or B786
  • Insulation:
    • Insulation is Extruded Black Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE)
