It features 19/38 stranded tin-plated copper conductors insulated with extruded polyethylene for reliable dielectric strength. The cable is jacketed in a rugged matte black extruded FR Cablethane jacket with a thickness of 0.04 inches, providing flame resistance, flexibility, and excellent abrasion protection.

This Defense-Link cable includes dual shielding for superior EMI/RFI protection: an aluminum/polyester foil shield with 25% overlap (foil out) and a 38 AWG tin-plated copper braid with a minimum 85% coverage.
