RG 404 — Coaxial Cable
RG 404 is a high-frequency coaxial cable designed for precision signal transmission in demanding environments. It features a solid silver-coated copper conductor with a 0.012" diameter, providing excellent conductivity and durability. The dual-layer dielectric is composed of PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) and conductive PTFE, delivering low capacitance of 31.5 pF/ft and superior signal integrity. An overall silver-coated copper braid shield offers excellent protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI), ensuring consistent, low-loss performance. The cable is jacketed with durable Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP), providing exceptional resistance to heat, chemicals, and harsh conditions, and supports an operating temperature range from -55C to 200C. With a nominal impedance of 50 ohms, a voltage rating of 2000V, and a compact 0.072" outer diameter, RG 404 is ideal for RF, microwave, aerospace, and instrumentation applications requiring reliable, high-performance signal transmission.
