Our Unshielded Multi-Conductor VNTC tray cable is used in control and power applications in chemical plants, steel mills, industrial plants, utility substations, generating stations, and commercial buildings. This cable is heat and moisture resistance and comes in a variety of insulation and jacketing combinations. It is approved for installation in cable trays, raceways, conduits, directburial, and aerial (when supported with a messenger) applications. This cable is also also available with the “-ER” rating.

Unshielded Multi-Conductor VNTC Construction:

  • Conductor: Stranded bare copper, Class B per UL 62 (*Parts are also available with tinned copper conductors)
  •  Insulation:
    • 16/18 AWG - Extruded PVC with Nylon Jacket (.004” thickness) Type TFFN per UL 66
    • 10/12/14 AWG - Extruded PVC with Nylon Jacket (.004” thickness; 10 AWG has .005”), Type THHN/THWN per UL 83
  • Jacket: Black PVC (sunlight resistant and flame retardant) per UL 1277 requirements for Type TC power and control cables
  • Assembly: Conductors are cabled with fillers where needed to make a round, compact core. Suitable tape is applied over construction. FL stands for Flat Construction, which is available on 2 conductor cables.
  • Color Coding: ICEA Method 1-E2 Table K-2
