4 Conductor Star Quad, Low Impedance

These four-conductor Star Quad Microphone Cables are suitable for use in low-impedance microphones. Belden Quad Cables feature two blue wires and two white wires with the like colors connected. They are connected by attaching the blue conductors to one pin and the white conductors to another in a XLR balance-line connector. This set-up offers maximum noise rejection.

Star Quad Microphone Cable Construction:

  • Conductor: Stranded High-Conductivity Silver-Plated Copper Alloy, High-Conductivity Bare Copper, or High-Conductivity Tinned Copper
  • Insulation: Polypropylene, Polyethylene, EPDM Rubber
  • Shielding: Tinned Copper Braid, Tinned Copper Braid Shield, or Tinned Copper Braid with Rayon Braid (with or without Cotton Wrap)
  • Jacket: PVC, EPDM Rubber, or Neoprene
  • Sizes Available: 28 AWG to 16 AWG

Star Quad Microphone Cable Ratings and Approvals:

  • UL AWM Style 2094 (300V, 60°C)
  • Select parts pass VW-1 flame test
  • Voltage Rating: 100V, 300V, or 600V
  • Temperature Rating: 60°C, 75°C or 90°C
