The LMR 500 cable is one of the many low-loss coaxial cables we carry at Allied Wire and Cable. This cable features a bare copper tube inner conductor and an aluminum tape outer conductor. It also features a foam PE dielectric and a tinned copper braid. This cable exhibits the lowest loss of any flexible cable — comparable to semirigid hard-line cables. The LMR 500 is designed for outdoor exposure, is UV resistant, and has a life expectancy of over 20 years.
