Wire Construction

• Conductor: Features flexible, concentric, soft annealed, tinned copper, with 18 and 20 AWG sizes including 3 reinforcing stainless steel strands for added durability.

• Insulation: Made from extruded virgin polyethylene, with 12 AWG and smaller gauges also including a 0.003" thick, clear polyamide (nylon) jacket for enhanced protective qualities.

• Shielding: Consists of a tinned copper braided shield providing at least 85% coverage, supplemented by a shield jacket of nylon or fused polyester tapes, tailored to meet specific size and electrical requirements.

• Jacket: Crafted from arctic grade polychloroprene (neoprene), this jacket meets the rigorous heat, oil, mechanical, and environmental stipulations of MIL-C-13777. For enhanced protection, a reinforcing serve is applied between layers where two layers are specified.
