The M24643/12 cable is a low smoke shipboard cable suitable for non-watertight and flexing service. This Mil-Spec cable features paired and stranded bare copper conductors, an LSZH XLPE jacket, and either XLPE or EPR insulation. It comes unarmored and has a voltage rating of 300V. This cable is suitable for use in shipboard interconnect audio, telephone, call bell, announcing, power supply, and alarm system applications. It may also be used for other interior communications and weapon control systems provided the ampere rating of the cable and voltage drop for the system are not exceeded.
