M24643/16 (LSTSGU, LSTSGA)

The M24643/16 cable is a low-smoke, zero-halogen shipboard cable suitable for watertight and non-flexing service. This Mil-Spec cable features three stranded bare copper conductors and an LSZH cross-linked Polyolefin jacket. Sizes 7 AWG and smaller feature Silicone Rubber/Glass Braid/Braid covering insulation. Sizes 3 AWG and larger feature Silicone Rubber Glass Tape insulation. This cable is suitable for use in power supply, lighting, and weapon control system applications that do not exceed 1000V. The Mil-DTL-24643 Mil-Spec covers cables suitable for use in power supply, lighting, control, communications, instrumentation, and electronic applications.
