The M24643/61 Defense-Link™ cable is a low-smoke, zero-halogen shipboard cable. It meets many compliances and is ideal for use in rigorous environments. This Mil-Spec cable features stranded tinned copper conductors, Polyethylene (PE) insulation, and an LSZH cross-linked Polyolefin (XLPO) jacket. It also has an aluminum/polyester foil shield. This cable is suitable for use in shipboard combat systems, interior communications, and lighting and power applications that do not exceed 300V. The Mil-DTL-24643 Mil-Spec covers cables suitable for use in shipboard, communications, instrumentation, and electronic applications.
