UL 1284 Wire

UL1284 is a MTW/TEW hook-up wire is designed to exceed test requirements by Underwriters Laboratories and the National Electric Code. It is recommended for use in accordance with UL and CSA for the internal wiring of uninterruptible power supply equipment. This wire features a bare or tinned copper conductor with PVC insulation. It is moisture-resistant and passes the VW-1 flame test. UL 1284 is suitable for use in the wiring of machine tools, appliances, control cabinets, electronic circuits, transformers, battery charger cable, motor lead, power hook-up cable, and switchboards. This wire is approved for both the internal and external wiring of appliances. It has a temperature rating of 105°C.
