The M24643/13 cable is a low smoke zero halogen shipboard cable. It is designed for non-watertight and flexing service. This Mil-Spec Cable features paired and stranded bare copper conductors, cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, a low smoke halogen-free Cross-Linked Polyolefin (XLPO) jacket, and an overall tinned copper braid shield. This cable also has an armored version, which features an aluminum braid armor. This cable is suitable for use in shipboard interconnect audio, telephone, call bell, announcing, and alarm system applications that do not exceed 300V. The Mil-DTL-24643 Mil-Spec covers cables suitable for use in power supply, lighting, control, communications, instrumentation, and electronic applications.
