The M24643/17 cable is a low-smoke, zero-halogen shipboard cable suitable for watertight and non-flexing service. This Mil-Spec cable features four stranded bare copper conductors and an LSZH cross-linked Polyolefin jacket. Sizes 7 AWG and smaller feature Silicone Rubber/Glass Braid/Braid covering insulation. Sizes 3 AWG and larger feature Silicone Rubber Glass Tape insulation. This cable is suitable for use in power supply, lighting, degaussing, and weapon control system applications that do not exceed 1000V.
