MIL-DTL-24643/2 (LSDCOP, LSTCOP)

The M24643/2 cable is a low-smoke, zero-halogen shipboard cable. It is suitable for non-watertight, flexing service. This Mil-Spec cable features stranded bare copper conductors, Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, and an LSZH cross-linked Polyolefin (XLPO) jacket. This cable is suitable for use in shipboard applications where unusual circuit parameters require an oil-resistant and LSZH cable. It is for use only in runs within one compartment or within continuous compartments. It is not suitable to be used to penetrate a watertight deck or bulkhead. The Mil-DTL-24643 Mil-Spec covers cables suitable for use in shipboard, communications, instrumentation, and electronic applications.
