The M24643/4 cable is a low-smoke, zero-halogen shipboard cable. It is an oil-resistant cable suitable for non-watertight, flexing service. This Mil-Spec cable features stranded bare copper conductors, Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) or EPR insulation, and an LSZH cross-linked Polyolefin (XLPO) jacket. This cable comes with varying conductor counts. Cables with five or six conductors have individually shielded conductors. The other variations of this cable feature an overall braid shield. This cable is ideal for use in shipboard applications where unusual circuit parameters require a special cable type and do not exceed 300V. It is suitable for use in runs within one or continuous compartments, but may not be used to penetrate a watertight deck or bulkhead.
