The M24643/55 cable is a low-smoke, zero-halogen shipboard cable. It is suitable for non-watertight, non-flexing service. This Mil-Spec cable features four bare copper conductors, Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, and an LSZH cross-linked Polyolefin (XLPO) jacket. An armored version is also available. This cable is suitable for use in shipboard combat systems, interior communications, and lighting and power applications. The Mil-DTL-24643 Mil-Spec covers cables suitable for use in shipboard, communications, instrumentation, and electronic applications.
