The M24643/56 cable is a low-smoke, zero-halogen shipboard cable. It is suitable for non-watertight, non-flexing service. This Mil-Spec cable features paired and stranded tinned copper conductors, Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, and an LSZH cross-linked Polyolefin (XLPO) jacket. It also features an overall tinned copper braid shield and an armored version is available. This cable is suitable for use in shipboard combat systems, interior communications, and lighting and power applications that do not exceed 1000V.
