The M24643/7 cable is a low-smoke, zero-halogen shipboard cable. It is oil-resistant and suitable for non-watertight, flexing service. This Mil-Spec cable features stranded bare copper conductors, Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) or Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) insulation, and an LSZH cross-linked Polyolefin (XLPO) jacket. This cable is suitable for use in shipboard combat systems, interior communications, and lighting and power applications that do not exceed 600V. However, it may only be used for runs within one compartment or within continuous compartments and shall not be used to penetrate a deck or bulkhead.
