TelcoFlex II

The TelcoFlex II Central Office Power Cable features low-smoke, zero-halogen TelcoHyde insulation. It also includes either a bunched or rope bunched stranded tinned copper conductor covered with an opaque mylar tape to facilitate stripping. TelcoFlex II Cables are type RHH/LS and are to be used in accordance with the National Electrical Code. This cable has a voltage rating of 600V and has a temperature rating of 60°C in wet conditions. Temperature ratings for dry conditions are either 90°C or 105°C.

TelcoFlex II Power Cable Specifications

TelcoFlex II Construction:

  • Conductor: Class I (modified) bunched (8 and 6 AWG) and rope-bunched (4 AWG and larger) stranded tinned copper conductor
  • Insulation: 90°C rated limited smoke, non-halogen TelcoHyde 5221, which features a limiting oxygen rating of 35%

TelcoFlex II Ratings and Approvals:

  • Temperature Rating: 90°C/105°C Dry and 60°C Wet
  • Voltage Rating: 600V
  • UL: Central Office Power Cable; UL Standard 44 ( Type RHH/ST1 Thermoset Insulated)
  • CT Rated: Sizes 1/0 and larger are UL, CT Use
  • VW-1
  • FT-4 Flame Test
  • ASTM B-33 and B172 for Flexible Strand
  • Listed for CT Use (Sizes 1/0 AWG and Larger)
