MIL-W-5086/7 — Type VII

The M5086/7 Mil-Spec cable has excellent resistance to moisture, fuels, hydraulic fluids, and other common industrial solvents. This durable cable features a stranded tinned copper single conductor, PVC insulation, and a nylon jacket. The M5086/7 wire has a voltage rating of 600V and a maximum temperature of 105°C. While it is an aircraft cable, it is suitable for use as an electrical wire in applications where exposure to impact, abrasion, and other abuse is a concern. This cable is available in 10 AWG to 24 AWG constructions. It also meets SAE spec AS50861/7.
